Sustainability You Can Hand to an Auditor.

No pledges. No leaves in cupped hands. Recovery reporting built to trace — ticket by ticket — to a weighbridge.

This page makes one argument: environmental performance is a measurement discipline, not a communications exercise. Everything below is either something we do, something we document, or something we refuse to do. Nothing is an aspiration wearing a present-tense verb.

01 — Circular Model

The Loop, Made Operational

Malaysia's construction economy runs substantially in a straight line: quarry to structure to landfill. Mahawijaya's entire commercial model is the alternative geometry — concrete returning as road base, steel returning to the mill, timber returning as boiler fuel displacing coal.

Loop
Buy → Process → Supply → Return
02 — Community

Responsibility Beyond the Yard.

Mahawijaya's responsibility does not end at the weighbridge. Alongside our recovery work, we support the communities around us — beginning with a laptop donation initiative that places working devices with students, alongside clothing and festive provision packs distributed through community and charitable partners. We document these contributions with the same care we apply to every load: what was given, to whom, and through which partner.

03 — Recovery Measurement

Recovery, Measured From the First Load.

~440 t
Estimated tonnes handled
~375 t
Estimated tonnes recovered
~85%
Estimated landfill diversion
~65 t
Residual material

Since launch in May 2026, Mahawijaya estimates that approximately 440 tonnes of construction and industrial material have entered its recovery process. Approximately 375 tonnes have been directed toward material-recovery routes, producing an estimated landfill-diversion rate of 85%. The remaining estimated 65 tonnes represent residual material requiring separate downstream management.

Estimates are calculated from operating capacity, recovery routing and stated material assumptions. Figures will be refined as operational records accumulate.

04 — Carbon Methodology

Estimating Displacement Carefully.

Estimated avoided emissions since launch
~40 tCO₂e

Methodology: This estimate reflects the assumed displacement of virgin materials through concrete, metal and timber recovery. It is based on material-recovery routing and published secondary-material factors. Future figures will be refined using verified material-stream, transport and processing data.

05 — ESG

ESG Starts With Evidence.

Environmental

Material recovery begins with weighing, classification and documented recovery routes.

Social

Community initiatives are recorded through real contributions, dates and charitable partners.

Governance

Reporting is built from operational records, not unsupported estimates.

Integrity

What We Refuse to Do

  • We do not accept scheduled waste into general streams.
  • We do not issue tickets for loads we did not weigh.
  • We do not "lose" contaminated material.

A recovery company's shortcuts become its clients' prosecutions; our refusals are part of what you are buying.

Frequently asked

  • From assumed displacement of virgin materials through concrete, metal and timber recovery, using recovery routing and published secondary-material factors. It will be refined with verified stream, transport and processing data.

  • Yes — estimated residual material is shown beside recovered tonnage. A diversion claim without its remainder is not a measurement.

  • Encouraged; it shortens everyone's reporting cycle.
