Waste Disposal Malaysia · Waste Management Selangor

Twelve Capabilities. One Documentation Standard.

Roro bin rental, construction waste disposal, scrap metal recovery and industrial waste collection across Puchong, Selangor, Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur. Every stream produces the same paper trail: consignment note at collection, weighbridge ticket per load, monthly summary.

01 — Service

Construction Waste, Managed Like Part of the Programme

Bins on schedule, swaps within hours, tickets the same day — and diversion reporting your certification consultant can use without reformatting.

Problem

On most projects, waste is nobody's package. The bins arrive late, the hauler's paperwork is a photograph of a handwritten chit, and when the sustainability consultant asks where eighteen months of debris went, the answer is a shrug that costs certification points. Meanwhile the skips leaving site contain steel and concrete the project paid for twice — once to buy, once to dump.

Solution

Mahawijaya runs construction material as a managed stream from earthworks to handover. We supply and rotate bins sized to each phase, schedule hauling around your programme, set up on-site segregation with signage and toolbox-talk support, and weigh every load at our Puchong facility. Recoverable fractions — concrete, steel, timber — are processed rather than dumped, and their value is credited against your account, itemised.

Benefits

  • Swap requests answered in hours, not days — a full bin never holds a work front.
  • Same-day digital weighbridge tickets to your QS inbox.
  • Monthly diversion reports formatted for GBI, GreenRE and LEED calculators.
  • Recovery credits reduce net disposal cost; the arithmetic appears on the invoice.
  • One vendor, one statement, one accountable contact for the project's duration.

Process

Site assessment and waste-stream mapping → bin placement plan agreed with your safety officer → scheduled rotation with WhatsApp-based swap requests → collection under digital consignment note → weighing, processing and recovery → monthly report and credit reconciliation.

Applications

High-rise and landed development · infrastructure packages · fit-out and refurbishment programmes · plant and site clearances · demolition support (with licensed demolition partners).

Frequently asked

  • Yes. Send the BQ waste allowance or drawings; we return a supported rate you can carry — and honour if you win.

  • Our drivers carry green cards and attend where required.

  • Concrete is crushed to aggregate, metal graded for mills, timber chipped for biomass — each stream's destination appears in your monthly report.

02 — Service

Your Plant's Entire Non-Product Output. One Contract.

Audit, segregation, collection, recovery and reporting — consolidated under a single accountable vendor, with the recyclable fraction finally earning what it is worth.

Problem

The typical factory runs a general-waste contractor, two scrap dealers, an occasional scheduled-waste transporter and a spreadsheet nobody trusts. Each vendor optimises for himself. The scrap is underpaid, the documentation has gaps an auditor can drive through, and the plant manager owns the consequences of all of it.

Solution

Mahawijaya takes single-point accountability for a facility's complete non-product output. We begin with a baseline audit that maps every stream — including the ones nobody currently owns — then design segregation, fix collection schedules to your shift pattern, and net recovery credits transparently on one monthly statement. Scheduled waste is coordinated through DOE-approved partner facilities with e-consignment documentation managed end to end.

Benefits

  • One statement replaces four or five vendor relationships.
  • Recovery credits for metal and timber, netted at index-linked rates.
  • Complete consignment chains — the audit finding that never happens.
  • KPI reporting: cost per tonne, diversion percentage, credit recovered, trend.
  • Regulatory changes affecting your streams flagged before they bite.

Process

Free plant audit and written findings → programme design with your EHS team → mobilisation of bins and schedules → operations with monthly reporting → quarterly review against KPI baselines.

Applications

Electronics and precision manufacturing · food and beverage plants · metal fabrication · plastics and packaging · logistics and warehousing · plant shutdowns and clearances.

Frequently asked

  • Nothing, and the written findings are yours regardless. Plants routinely discover 15–25% recoverable cost.

  • Transport and treatment run through DOE-approved facilities; we manage the logistics and the eSWIS paperwork. General and recyclable streams we handle at our own facility.

  • Yes — consolidated statement, per-site detail.

03 — Service

Yesterday's Structure. Tomorrow's Road Base.

Demolition concrete crushed, screened and graded into documented recycled aggregate — at our facility or, for major works, on yours.

Problem

Concrete is the heaviest, most expensive fraction of demolition — expensive to haul, expensive to tip, and absurd to bury, because it is crushed rock that someone already paid to quarry. Every tonne landfilled is a tonne of aggregate the same industry buys back from a quarry the following week.

Solution

We accept demolition concrete — reinforced included — and process it into graded recycled concrete aggregate: crusher-run equivalent, 20mm and 40mm graded products, and hardcore. Rebar is extracted and credited at scrap rates. Each production batch is sampled for sieve analysis; CBR reports are available for road-base applications. For demolitions above roughly 5,000 tonnes, our mobile crushing spread deploys to your site, cutting haulage and letting you reuse material as backfill where you stand.

Benefits

  • Rebar credited, not charged — reinforced concrete loads price lower than most expect.
  • Batch-level test documentation: sieve analysis standard, CBR on request.
  • On-site crushing reduces haulage cost by a margin your QS will notice.
  • Closed loop available: your demolition returns to your project as aggregate, one account.

Process

Load or project assessment → intake at Puchong or mobile deployment → crushing, screening, rebar extraction → batch sampling and grading → stockpile or direct supply → documentation issue.

Applications

Structural demolition · precast rejects and test cubes · kerbs and drainage sections · piling breakdown · road and platform construction (as output product).

Frequently asked

  • Yes — a popular arrangement for phased developments: demolition out, aggregate in, one invoice.

  • Soil, gypsum and timber. Below ~5% by volume passes; above it, a sorting surcharge is discussed with you first.

  • We handle DOE and local-council notifications, plus dust and noise management plans, for mobile crushing deployments.

Mineral Material Deserves Better Than a Hole in the Ground

Brick, tile, masonry and mixed rubble — screened, sized and returned to service as fill and sub-base material.

Problem

Renovation and demolition produce tonnes of mixed mineral material — brick, tile, block, render — that is too contaminated for premium aggregate but far too useful for landfill. Most of it gets dumped anyway, at full tipping cost, because sorting it was never anyone's business model.

Solution

Sorting it is precisely our business model. Mixed mineral loads are screened and processed at Puchong into graded fill and lower-bound sub-base products, with ferrous contamination removed magnetically and deleterious material picked out on the line. What would have been a disposal charge becomes, in part, a recovered product with a market.

Benefits

  • Reduced net cost versus straight disposal — recovery value is credited.
  • Mixed loads accepted; our line does the separation.
  • Output products documented by visual grade and, where required, laboratory testing.
  • Diversion tonnage reported for your environmental submissions.

Process

Load assessment (photos suffice) → collection or delivery to facility → screening, magnetic separation, hand-picking → grading to fill and sub-base products → recovery reporting.

Applications

Renovation strip-outs · masonry demolition · tiling and façade works · precast rejects · landscaping and platform fill supply.

Frequently asked

  • Soil, gypsum and timber below roughly 5% by volume passes without surcharge; beyond that we tell you before processing, not after.

  • For general fill and temporary works, routinely. For specified layers, we provide documentation for your engineer's approval.

Your Scrap Is Worth Exactly What the Bridge Says

Ferrous and non-ferrous metal purchased at index-linked rates, weighed on a calibrated 60-tonne bridge you are welcome to watch.

Problem

The scrap trade runs on opacity: unverified scales, unexplained deductions, prices that move between the phone call and the payment. Legitimate generators — factories, contractors, demolition firms — get underpaid precisely because the market assumes nobody checks.

Solution

We built the checking into the process. Every load crosses a calibrated weighbridge with the reading visible to you or your driver, and the printed ticket is issued on the spot. Prices peg to published indices; any grade adjustment is shown to you on the sorting floor before it applies. Payment is by bank transfer within seven days — a documented transaction your accounts department can file, not an envelope.

Benefits

  • Index-linked pricing, stated at quotation.
  • Witnessed weighing; disputes end at the bridge.
  • Itemised grade adjustments — nothing silent.
  • Clean, auditable payment records.
  • Scheduled bins and consolidated statements for regular generators.

Process

Photo or site assessment → indicative quote same working day → collection or delivery → witnessed weighing and grading → ticket issued → transfer within seven days.

Applications

Structural steel and rebar from demolition · fabrication offcuts · machinery and equipment retirement · M&E strip-outs · production scrap programmes · cable and non-ferrous accumulation.

Frequently asked

  • None at the yard; collections from roughly 500 kg.

  • Yes, for every purchase, in line with police and council requirements — protection for legitimate sellers, including you.

  • Copper and aluminium classes vary most; ask the trading desk for current spreads.

Timber Used Once Is Not Timber Used Up

Formwork, pallets, crates and demolition timber — collected, shredded, de-metalled and returned to work as industrial boiler fuel.

Problem

Construction timber has one of the shortest working lives of any material on site: formwork struck, pallets emptied, crates opened — then the pile grows until someone pays to burn or bury it. Both options cost money and neither survives an environmental report gracefully.

Solution

We collect timber streams on schedule or on call, shred and screen them at Puchong, extract fixings magnetically, and grade the output. Fuel-quality chip supplies industrial boilers, displacing coal and gas. Reusable pallets are graded and returned to circulation. Consistent, clean streams earn recovery credits that can offset collection cost — some generators reach net-zero-cost timber disposal.

Benefits

  • Scheduled or on-call collection, sized from a single bin to bunker volumes.
  • Nails and brackets are our problem, not yours — magnetic separation is in the line.
  • Recovery credits for clean, consistent streams.
  • Reported tonnage and CO₂e displacement estimates for your ESG disclosures.

Process

Stream assessment → collection schedule → shredding, screening, de-metalling → grading → supply to boiler operators → monthly recovery report.

Applications

Formwork and plywood from structure works · pallets and crates from manufacturing and logistics · demolition timber and roof structures · cable drums · production offcuts.

Frequently asked

  • Standard-footprint reusable pallets, yes — graded on inspection.

  • Accepted for non-fuel streams; declare it for accurate quoting.

  • Chemically treated marine timber, and MDF-heavy loads are quoted separately — they don't meet fuel grade.

Logistics That Can Answer for Itself

GPS-tracked vehicles, licensed drivers, digital consignment notes — material movement that holds up when someone asks where a load went.

Problem

"The driver took it somewhere" is the sentence that ends careers in environmental compliance. Once material leaves your gate with an undocumented hauler, its destination becomes your legal exposure — because under Malaysian law, liability follows the generator, not the lorry.

Solution

Every Mahawijaya movement runs under a digital consignment note signed at pickup and closed at a weighbridge, with GPS position reported throughout. Contract clients get a searchable archive of every ticket and a live view of loads in transit. We also haul to client-nominated licensed facilities under the same documentation standard — your disposal arrangements, our accountable logistics.

Benefits

  • Complete chain of custody, gate to gate.
  • Same-day ticket delivery to your nominated inbox.
  • Fleet variety: hook-lift, arm-roll, tippers, crane-equipped flatbeds for machinery.
  • Third-party hauling without documentation compromise.

Process

Movement request → vehicle assignment and consignment note opened → GPS-tracked transit → weighbridge closure → ticket issued and archived.

Applications

Bin rotation and site clearance · bulk mineral haulage · machinery and equipment moves · inter-facility transfers · scheduled-waste transport coordination to approved facilities.

Frequently asked

  • Selangor and Kuala Lumpur for on-call work; wider contract coverage quoted case by case.

  • Yes — crane-equipped flatbeds handle decommissioned equipment.

  • Available in most zones with notice.

Scheduled Waste, Handled Without Shortcuts

Transport and treatment through DOE-approved partner facilities, with Mahawijaya managing the logistics, the e-consignment record and the accountability in between.

Problem

Scheduled waste is where compliance failures become prosecutions. The Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 impose notification, labelling, storage and consignment requirements that general haulers routinely mishandle — and every mishandled step traces back to the generator's licence, not the hauler's.

Solution

Mahawijaya does not pretend to be a scheduled-waste treatment facility, and you should distrust any general operator who does. Instead, we coordinate your scheduled streams through DOE-approved partners: correct SW-code classification, compliant packaging and labelling guidance, licensed transport, treatment at approved premises, and the complete eSWIS e-consignment trail — managed by us, evidenced to you. One point of accountability across a chain the regulations deliberately made complicated.

Benefits

  • Honest structure: approved facilities do the treatment; we own the coordination and paperwork.
  • SW-code classification support before anything moves.
  • Complete e-consignment records, archived and retrievable.
  • Integration with your general and recyclable streams under one account.

Process

Stream identification and SW-code classification → partner facility matching → packaging and storage guidance → licensed collection → treatment and consignment closure → documentation to your compliance file.

Applications

Manufacturing process residues · contaminated containers and materials · e-waste streams · workshop fluids and filters · laboratory and clinic streams (via appropriately licensed partners).

Treatment runs through DOE-approved partner facilities. Mahawijaya coordinates transport, classification and documentation — the compliant structure, disclosed.

Frequently asked

  • Because treatment requires specific DOE licensing per waste code. Coordinating approved specialists — transparently — is the compliant structure.

  • The licensed transporter and treatment facility, correctly, with our coordination documented. Nothing is disguised.

  • Yes — the plant audit covers scheduled streams and often finds classification errors worth correcting before DOE does.

The Discipline That Makes Waste a Misnomer

Sorting, size reduction, separation and grading — the processing engineering that converts mixed streams into products with specifications.

Problem

The difference between waste and resource is not the material. It is what happens to it after the gate. Unprocessed, a mixed load is a tipping fee. Processed — sorted, sized, separated, graded — the same load becomes aggregate, mill feed and boiler fuel. Most operators never built the second option.

Solution

Processing is Mahawijaya's core, not an add-on. Inbound streams are weighed, characterised and routed through the appropriate line: crushing and screening for mineral material, shredding and magnetic separation for timber, sorting and grading for metals, hand-picking where machines fall short. Recovery rates are measured per stream, and the residual fraction — what genuinely cannot be recovered — is disposed of at licensed facilities, documented like everything else.

Benefits

  • Recovery-first routing: landfill is a measured last resort, not a default.
  • Per-stream recovery rates reported to material sellers.
  • Output products meet stated grades, with testing where applications demand it.
  • Continuous method improvement through university research partnerships.

Process

Intake weighing and characterisation → routing to processing line → separation and grading → quality sampling → product stockpile or dispatch → residual disposal, documented.

Applications

Every stream on this page passes through this capability. It is also available as a standalone service for organisations with material that needs characterisation and recovery routing rather than mere removal.

Frequently asked

  • It depends entirely on stream composition — which is why we report actuals per client rather than advertise a universal number.

  • Send photographs and whatever composition data exists; assessment is part of the service.

Close Your Own Loop

Buy-back arrangements, recovered-content supply and measured circularity — structured for organisations ready to stop renting a linear supply chain.

Problem

Most companies' circularity commitment lives in the annual report and dies at procurement. The demolition contract and the aggregate purchase order sit in different departments, priced by different vendors, connected by nothing — so the same firm pays to dump concrete in March and buys crusher run in April.

Solution

We connect the two purchase orders. A circular arrangement with Mahawijaya can mean: your demolition concrete returning to your project as documented aggregate; your timber offsetting your energy vendor's fuel cost; your metal credits funding your disposal line; recovered-content supply contracted against your sustainability targets. Each loop is measured — tonnes out, tonnes back, emissions displaced — so the annual report finally has numbers instead of intentions.

Benefits

  • One account spanning material out and material in.
  • Measured loops: quantified diversion, recovered content and displacement.
  • Procurement-ready documentation for recycled-content requirements.
  • Genuine cost logic — circularity that survives a QS review.

Process

Material flow review across your projects or facilities → loop design and commercial structure → implementation with both funnels active → quarterly loop reporting.

Applications

Phased developments (demolish–rebuild cycles) · infrastructure programmes with fill demand · manufacturers with recovered-content targets · organisations reporting under Bursa sustainability requirements.

Frequently asked

  • No. The smallest loop — buying back your own crushed concrete — works at single-project scale.

  • Weighbridge-traced tonnage on both directions of the loop, reported quarterly.

ESG Data Your Assurance Provider Will Actually Accept

Diversion tonnage, displacement estimates and certificates that trace, ticket by ticket, to a calibrated weighbridge.

Problem

Waste is among the easiest ESG metrics to claim and the hardest to evidence. Estimates dressed as measurements survive until the first assurance engagement samples them — at which point the sustainability report becomes a liability with page numbers.

Solution

Mahawijaya's reporting was designed backwards from the audit. Every figure in a client report traces to a weighbridge ticket; every ticket to a GPS-logged movement; every movement to a consignment note. On that foundation we provide monthly stream reports, diversion percentages, CO₂e displacement estimates with stated methodology and factors, and annual certificates formatted for your reporting framework — Bursa-aligned where required.

Benefits

  • Evidence chains pre-assembled for assurance sampling.
  • Methodology stated, factors referenced — no black-box carbon numbers.
  • Certificates and data formatted to your framework, not ours.
  • Green-building credit mapping (GBI, GreenRE, LEED) on request.

Process

Reporting requirements review → data structure alignment → monthly reporting cycle → annual certificate issue → assurance support as needed.

Applications

Bursa-listed groups and their supply chains · developers pursuing certification · multinational subsidiaries reporting to global frameworks · government-linked companies.

Frequently asked

  • Standard monthly reporting is included in service contracts. Bespoke framework formatting is scoped case by case.

  • We can only certify material we handled — which is precisely the point.

Advice From People Who Run the Yard

Waste-stream design, compliance guidance and reporting structure — from an operator, not a slide deck.

Problem

Environmental advice in this sector usually arrives from consultants who have never priced a haul or closed a consignment note. The recommendations read well and cost a fortune to operate — or cannot be operated at all.

Solution

Our consultation is grounded in the operation twenty metres from the meeting room. We advise on waste-stream design for new projects and facilities, segregation economics, regulatory obligations under the EQA 1974 and Act 672, documentation structure, and reporting that will withstand both DOE inspection and assurance review. Where we recommend a practice, it is because we run it daily.

Benefits

  • Operationally tested recommendations, priced against reality.
  • Compliance guidance in plain language, mapped to your obligations.
  • Reporting structures designed backwards from audit requirements.
  • Direct line into implementation — the advisors run the recovery chain.

Process

Scoping conversation → site or documentation review → written recommendations with cost logic → optional implementation under a service contract.

Applications

New project waste-management plans · facility design reviews · pre-tender waste strategy · compliance health checks · reporting framework setup.

Frequently asked

  • No. Consultation stands alone; many engagements simply end with a better-run incumbent arrangement.

  • Yes — and we will tell you plainly if it is sound.
